The University:
  • The University has 2 campuses, Peterborough campus & Oshawa campus.
  • Peterborough campus: 1,450-acres straddling the Otonabee river in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, a vibrant mid-sized city just 90 minutes from Toronto.

Tuition Fees:

Graduate Programs:
Master of Arts $13,505, Master of Science students between $13,228 and $17,807, and Ph.D. students between $18,505 and $19,807 Per Year.

Undergraduate Programs:
For General Programs Full time Peterborough $16,742.58 –
Education Program - Full Time $16,416.83 - Nursing Program $17,021.40- Nursing Program- Compressed Program - $16,755.58

English Language Requirement:
For Undergraduate & Post Graduate 6.5 Band IELTS or 86 IBT TOEFL

Admissions Requirements


   For Under Graduate Programs 

  • A completed and signed application form
  • Application fees C$50 
  • Official high school, and (if applicable) post-secondary transcripts with mid-term results or predicted grades
  • Official high school diploma, if high school has been completed
  • Official degree certificate/diploma if post-secondary has been completed
  • Official English language proficiency results (IELTS 6.5- TOEFL 86 IBT)

 

   For Post Graduate Programs

  • A completed and signed application form
  • The application fee is $85.00 CDN
  • Overall academic average of at least an upper second-class standing (B+/77%) in the work of the last 10 full academic credits or the last two undergraduate years (full-time equivalent).
  • Two letters of Reference - academic references are preferred; however, professional references will be accepted. Have referees fill out the required template in additional to any letters submitted on the applications behalf.  Referee Template
  • No GRE, No GMAT Required

3.    A Plan of Study- typically 1-2 pages, outlining applicant's objectives in a graduate program.  Any specific research interests (if known), relevant experiences, and/or career aspirations can be included.  If a potential supervisor has been discussed, please identify this in your plan of study.    Plan of Study
4.  A Writing Sample - submit a sample of your writing of about 20 pages or less. Writing samples must be submitted electronically by emailing graduate@trentu.ca.  Preferred format is PDF. Please indicate in the subject line of your email: student name and program choice. Hard copies will not be accepted.
